How to become an Artist Member of Open Studio

Artist Membership is offered throughout the year to artists who have rented in the studio for a minimum
of six months and whose application has been approved by the board
of directors. The board meets once a month from September to July and artists interested in applying are encouraged to submit a cover letter and current cv to Jennifer Bhogal, Executive Director, which will be presented at the next board meeting. The Artist Membership fee is $30 due on November 1st annually.
All studio users must first be a Renter prior to becoming an Artist Member of Open Studio. For information on becoming a Renter, please click here.

- Automatically guaranteed, but not obligated, to be included in the Print Sales Program at Open Studio

- Eligibility to apply for the Nick Novak Scholarship open to Open Studio Artist Members only.

Open Studio is also pleased to announce the launch of Varied Editions, a virtual exhibition space to showcase the work of Open Studio’s Artist Membership. This online gallery will feature a rotating schedule of solo exhibitions of work by Open Studio’s artist members, scheduled to coincide with the exhibition dates of the Open Studio galleries. Each exhibition will include images of recent work by the profiled artist, an artist statement and biography, and may also feature video interviews or artists’ online projects.
