Open Studio provides three education sessions each year beginning in early October, early February and early May. Schedules, fees and course descriptions for all courses, workshops and sessions are posted as they become available, approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to the start of the education session. Please review our Registration Policy and then click on the course you are interested in below for dates and further information. You may also download the entire schedule as a PDF document.
Another component of the Education Program is Open Studio’s one-on-one teaching scenarios arranged by the Technical Director to provide customized learning for individuals who wish to further their exploration of a particular print media outside of our standard classes. An Open Studio artist member or renter with a particular style of working or knowledge of a specific technique is paired up with the student for a minimum of 4 hours. A one-on-one scenario is often the best option for busy artists to acquire the knowledge and experience needed to further their practice or execute a project. Please forward inquiries to Jill Graham, Technical Director, at 416-504-8238. |
