Libby Hague
Persistance of Dreams
November 2 to 27 '99

Libby Hague continues to create challenging work that breaks from the traditional genres of printmaking. Tentatively entitled "Be Careful", this exhibition will explore anxieties of the individual, both within a rigid, closed community and in a mob. The work will combine images of hospital rooms, as a metaphor for the institutional and impersonal, both with and without collaged watercolour figures. Opposite these images will be randomly pinned mob-masked figures.
