Mary Baranowski-Lowden
My work is of the narrative, imagery drawn from my own life. Their main focuses are about home, my children, my garden, and our summers together. Simple images we encounter make a visual imprint and resurface as a memory. My latest etchings have been influenced by my travels, the different people, places and cultures has expanded my artistic vocabulary. I feel my prints are most successful when they capture not only the memory but also the essence of this experience.
